Wyandanch man charged with attempted murder

The Eighth Squad reports on a Shots Fired incident that occurred on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 5:45 PM in Farmingdale.

According to Detectives, a 15-year-old male was at the Allen Park, located at 99 Motor Avenue when he was struck by a bullet in the right leg by an unknown subject. The subject fled the scene. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he is in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

Defendant Terrance K. Alston, 24, of 36 N 15TH Street, Wyandanch, has been arrested in connection with the above incident. Terrance K. Alston is charged with Attempted Murder 2nd Degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st Degree.  He will be arraigned on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
