Woman sexually assaulted in North Bellmore

North Bellmore - A woman while walking was attacked from behind by a male suspect on Saturday morning in North Bellmore. The male dragged the woman to his car, a black sedan and sexually assaulted her. She resisted and escaped. Immediately she called 911. Police arrived shortly to Porter Street. The woman, a 25 year old was hit with an object in the back of her head. She was taken to hospital. Police described the suspect as male, in his 30's about 6 feet tall wearing a blue jeans and dark sweatshirt. He had a goatee. Reported 9am.
