Woman sexually assaulted and raped in Flushing

Police are reporting rape and sexual assault of a female victim in the vicinity of Kissena Blvd and 72nd Road in Flushing. The perp is seen last on Kissena Blvd and Parsons Blvd and remains at large. The woman was returning home after dropping her child to school and was followed when the incident happened. EMS transported the victim with serious injuries to a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
