Woman robbed in the parking lot of ShopRite in New Hyde Park

Police reported on Thursday, February 1 around 3:30m, a 76 year old woman was robbed while loading her groceries into her vehicle. It happened inside the parking lot of ShopRite in New Hyde Park near New Hyde Park Road. Two suspects, Bradley Pearl, 32 of Plainview and Jillian Anselmo, 34 of Williston Park were arrested shortly at another location nearby on Dakota Drive. Several witnesses were alerted and identified the getaway vehicle, a Lexus with plates. Police recovered the victim's purse. Both Anselmo and Pearl were charged and arraigned. Police are advising seniors to stay alert as this is the second incident there lately.
