Woman arrested for robbing a taxi driver in Hicksville

Police arrested Ingris Reyes, 22 and charged with robbery of a taxi driver in Hicksville. It happened on Wednesday, February 7 around 12:30am. The driver, a 20 year old male victim was working for a local taxi company and picked up Reyes on Jerusalem Avenue and 11th Street in Hempstead. From there, the perp displayed a knife demanding money. The taxi driver compiled and the perp took off with cash. Police located Reyes shortly and took her into custody.
