Wild night in Bayside from pursuit to apprehension

The NYPD went all out in Bayside after a victim alerted 911 of a vehicle being followed on the Cross Island Parkway southbound to Northern Blvd. Shortly, the victim was robbed of the vehicle, Porsche by two suspects in a Mercedes. Police tracked the vehicle using lo-jack to inside streets in Bayside where one of the suspects took off on foot. The other suspect in a Mercedes took off and is still on the search. After search narrowed, one of the suspects was apprehended after resisting arrest and the vehicle was recovered.

EMS treated the suspect on the scene and took him into custody.

Chopper and K-9 are assisting with the search for the other suspect.
