What that foul smell in north Nassau

Relax and stay indoors.

The NYS Dept of Environmental states they are conducting a study by placing chemicals in the Oyster Bay water to keep shellfish healthy.

Also where the treated wastewater goes.

In all they didn’t release the information to the residents or notified earlier.

The foul smell will last a while.
