Whale found dead on Long Island

The NCPD closed one part of the beach in Nassau County reporting a dead whale has been found. This is by Shore Road in Long Beach.

The incident was reported this afternoon by walkers who alerted 911.

ESU is working to remove the whale to the shore.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association is enroute to carry for cause of death.

Ongoing investigation.
