Westbury man busted for assault with vehicle in Mineola

Police arrested Anthony Scott, 37 of Westbury and charged with assault of three victims in Mineola. The incident happened on March 18 around 5pm on Jericho Turnpike and Mineola Blvd. Police reported Scott had his vehicle double parked and argument erupted with three people in a different vehicle. Sources reported three people got out of the vehicle and attacked Scott. From there, Scott allegedly struck them with his vehicle when they were walking to the sidewalk. All three were taken to local hospitals. Scott's vehicle plates were noted by a witness and alerted police. He was arrested at his home. He was charged with assault, weapon possession, drugs after cops found them in his vehicle.
