Weekend flood watch update from NYC

Saturday will be a long long long rainy day. Rain comes from clouds which form when the invisible water vapor in the air condenses. The big word is called precipitation.

NYC has issued a big press statement today on tomorrow’s rain.

First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright is acting mayor and announced the following for all.

Avoid driving and stay indoors if you can. Do not venture into floodwater. The Flood Watch is on from 2am to 8pm. 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain may cause flooding of roadways & streets. Avoid flood-prone areas. This time, emergency management teams, first responders, and key city agencies are fully activated to face the coming rains head-on.

This came after last week’s flooding blaming the Mayor didn’t prepare to handle it well from residents, radical left and local constituents.
