Water break reported in Long Island

Baldwin and Oceanside are reporting a large water break in Long Island. Some of the streets are flooded and locals are advised to stay indoors for now. The original incident was reported in Baldwin by Silver Lake Park that borders Oceanside.

A local hospital, Mount Sinai South Nassau reported of water stoppage flowing to the hospital for now. However, no patients are affected by the impact.

The town is working to restore services as soon as possible.

As of now, the following roads are closed,

Winona Road from Edwards Street to Anderson Street, Anderson Street from Essex Court to Cheshire Drive and Remsen Street at Anderson Street.
