Water break forcing evacuation in Nassau County

Nassau County announced major water break in the following locations, Lynbrook, West Hempstead, Valley Stream, Mineola and its vicinities. The main break occurred at Putnam Avenue in Lynbrook. More than 5,000 homes are without water. Some has been evacuated. Utility workers are on the scene.
