Wanted for Commack counterfeit cash transaction

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men who attempted to use counterfeit money in August.

Two men entered Spirit Halloween, located at 5025 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, at 6 p.m. on August 22 and attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for merchandise. The transaction was denied by an employee of the store.
