Victim knocked down and robbed in Woodside

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of two suspects wanted for assaulting a victim, male, while walking. After the victim was assaulted and fell to the ground from behind while walking, the other suspect displayed a weapon.

Then the suspects stole personal belongings and then took off on foot.

The incident was reported on August 27 around 4am in the vicinity of 64th Street and Broadway in Woodside as per police statement.

EMS transported the 52 year old victim to a local hospital.

So far no arrests.

NYPD reported the largest assaults in NYC of suspects attacking victims while walking from behind in unprovoked incidents.
