Vehicle owners are going back to theirs after flood crisis

The NYC Dept of Transportation reported over 1,000 vehicles have been abandoned due to the flood last night. Today, vehicle owners are heading out to pick them up. The city stated due to lack of tow trucks, it wasn’t available for all calls in the storm. At the same time, after 9am, if the vehicles are not picked up, the city is removing them to the pound. If not claimed within certain period of time, it will be auctioned off. Vehicle owners are to call 311 and get the update or go to the pound.
