Vehicle accident with one dead near Queens College

Police have closed off the intersection of Kissena Blvd and Horace Harding Expressway reporting a vehicle accident with one dead.

This is by the Dunkin Donuts side.

Two suspects, females, black, took off on foot toward the inside streets abandoning the vehicle, a U Haul after the crash with another vehicle. Police reported this as a hit and run.

K-9 is assisting with the search.

The medical examiner is working to transport the body of a male, 56, pending autopsy. This is in Kew Garden Hills.

EMS transported one driver from the car to a local hospital now in stable condition.

Highway CIS is working on the scene.
