Vehicle accident injuries and fatalities from Queens to Long Island

On Sunday morning in Lindenhurst, a 59 year old woman died from a car crash. This is on Route 109 and the incident was reported around 7am.

In Queens, a single motorcycle accident resulted with a 17 year old passenger teen dead. This is on the Cross Island Parkway southbound by Whitestone Expressway. The motorcycle rider, 29, was also taken to a hospital. Police sources stated the motorcyclist hit the curb and lost control.

This morning around 8:30am, a woman lost control of the vehicle and hit the gates of a cemetery in Middle Village. This is on Cooper Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue. EMS transported the woman from the single accident to a local hospital now in critical condition.

All incidents are under investigation.
