Valley Stream and Rosedale has train delays with one fatality

The NCPD reported a male struck by train in Valley Stream. The incident was reported this morning around 7am during the rush hour in Nassau County. LIRR was delayed to Manhattan. EMS transported the male to a local hospital after ESU removed him.

Around 10:30am this morning, a male was struck by a train and died in Rosedale station of the LIRR Queens.

ESU is working to remove the male.

The medical examiner is on the scene awaiting transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

Power is shut down in both directions.

The investigation continues.
