Update on the fire in Hollis

More than 10 homes are extended with fire on Francis Lewis Blvd and Hillside Avenue.

This is now 5th alarm.

More firefighters from other stations are enroute.

EMS reported multiple injuries.

FDNY is now working to evacuate all residents from homes on the southside east of Francis Lewis Blvd.

The area is a mess now.

Francis Lewis Blvd is closed.

Avoid the area.

Red Cross enroute to help residents with shelters.

Update - Over ten firefighters taken to hospital along with civilians.
