Update on the driver of Jackson Heights after hitting drive in patrons

NYPD released report today of the incident of driver who lost control and hitting patrons at outdoor dining in Jackson Heights. The incident reported on July 5 around 9:30pm sent more than 10 people to hospitals when a vehicle lost control on Roosevelt Avenue and 86th Street in front of 12 Corazones restaurant. Five were released with minor injuries and another five suffered injuries. The lone driver, a 68 year old male was checked for DWI at the time of accident and tested negative. After investigation, he was issued summons to appear in court.
