Update on the Syosset train fatality

Police have released the name of the male that was struck by train and died in Syosset. The incident was reported on Friday around 10:30pm near Woodbury Drive. 

The dead has been identified as Jason Maser, 22 years old of Syosset who was arraigned on 2 counts of rape in Nassau County on Friday, March 22.

According to the Nassau County DA's Office, Maser was accused of sexually assaulting 15 year old student on February 7 and March 7. Police stated he was working at B&B Volleyball in Albertson & Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead.
