Update on the Sunset Park shooting

NYPD confirmed this is not being investigated as an act of terrorism.

POTUS has been briefed and NYC Mayor can't go out due to the rona so his deputy Lorraine Grillo along with the NY Governor who flew down in a chopper attended with the NYPD.

8:24am, a suspect, male, black, 5'5" heavily built, was inside the last third car on Manhattan bound N put on a gas mask and green construction vest, opened a smoke canister and then began shooting as the train entered 36th Street.

So far no explosive devices. As of now from FDNY commissioner Laura Kavanagh, 16 injured and 10 shot with gunshot wounds and 5 are in critical condition.

Expect major delays on B, D, F‌, N, Q, R‌, and W‌ lines in both directions.

The suspect is on a massive hunt by police.
