Update on the Karina Vetrano s case

The Queens DA's office requested the presiding Judge, Stephanie Zaro to adjourn due to limited sources in obtaining newer evidence. The next court date is April 3rd at 9am in Queens Criminal Court at Kew Gardens. The defendant, Chanel Lewis is remanded in custody and did not appear. Meanwhile, Lewis's parents were trying to raise funds for defense by setting up an account with GoFundMe but removed due to the company's violation. Lewis's friends are volunteering to raise funds by working in the community of East New York.
