Unpaid leave data on city workers in NYC

The NYC mayor’s office reported around 9,000 workers for NYC municipal are on unpaid leave due to non-vaxx. Of the 400,000 workforce, that’s less than 6%. Around 12,000 requested exemption including NYPD claiming religious reasons and their status will be decided this week. However, they work with paychecks by showing weekly negative tests. Another 2,300 FDNY called in sick today including vaxxed. Around 22,800 are still unvaxx as of last night, pissing the mayor off.

This is the current standing, NYPD at 85%, up from 70%, FDNY at 77%, up from 58%, EMS at 88% up from 61% and DSNY at 83%, up from 62%. As for probation officers, it’s up 17%, Transportation and Environmental Protection are up 18%, NYCHA, parks and homeless service staff at 16% up and ACS at 15%.

The mayor is working to decrease the number to make it 100% to let all know NYC is the only city to have vaxx municipal workers for his upcoming governor race.
