Union Turnpike Exit to close in QV

From Grand Central Parkway eastbound to Union Turnpike will be closed from May 5 to 8 for repaving.

According to the NYS Dept of Transportation, This closure is needed to facilitate work on NYSDOT’s $13 million pavement preservation project that is taking place in Queens, Brooklyn, and Richmond Counties.

The closure will start at 10pm Friday night until 5am Monday morning.

Alternate traffic is to use the next Exit of the Cross Island Parkway and head to Union Turnpike.
