Um um um a new bill hmmm in NYC

Anything that goes for pleasure from massage parlors to discrete locations is getting a new bill in NY. This came after Queens reported the biggest spike with spas and parlors especially Roosevelt Avenue and Northern Blvd from Jackson Heights to Corona to Flushing.

In NYC, there is no need for a license to operate massage parlors which explains the booming business and no elected officials want to be involved. However, massage therapists must be licensed by the NYS.

The primary reason is due to human trafficking from the open border down south Texas consisting of mostly migrants.

Despite shutting down operations on Roosevelt Avenue, business continues to run as usual.

Now a local councilmember Francisco Moya from Corona is working on a legislation to mandate licensing for those working in such places.

Moya quoted, “This bill is going to secure the public safety for one, prevent human trafficking, two, and three, and it’s going to help regulate an industry that has not been regulated for years.”

The bill is going to be a long battle ahead.
