Two woman stolen money at a Middle Island business

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the women who stole money during a scam at a Middle Island business in September.

Two women stole approximately $880 from an employee of Giunta’s Meat Farms, located at 1235 Middle Country Road, during a sleight-of-hand scam while purchasing groceries on September 23 at 5:22 p.m. It is believed that the women additionally stole cash from an employee of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, located at 323 Middle Country Road, earlier that day.
