Two tourists found dead in Queens

Police closed off a building on 29th Street by 40th Road in Long Island City reporting two dead bodies. The calls came in around 2am. Further investigation reported the location was a temp stay room in a bsement home using Airbnb.

Police later stated both are from Italy operating a construction business there were visiting NYC. The city's medical examiner will conduct an autopsy. Police also stated drugs were found inside and may have overdosed but not confirmed. The investigation is ongoing.
