Two suspects wanted for attempted abduction in Mineola

Police were called to Maple Place in Mineola reporting of attempted abduction. It happened on June 12 around 5pm. Two girls were in the yard when two men approached the victims and tried to grab them. One victim was pushed to the ground while the other ran away. Shortly, the victim attacked the suspect and screamed causing both suspects to ran away. The victim told police one suspect took off in a dark vehicle and other on foot. Both had beards and were wearig blue shirts and yellow pants. Ongoing investigation.
