Two separate incidents reported in Syosset

The NCPD reported a bicyclist died after striking a parked truck in Syosset. The incident was reported this morning around 9am on South Service Road and Robbins Lanes. The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

On Friday evening, a group of bully kids called another group of kids to a local park. This is at Crocus Drive Playground.

The NCPD reported two teens were assaulted, robbed and had their heads shaved after duct taping their mouths.

The suspects, all three, have been arrested and charged with assault, robbery and unlawful imprisonment.

The investigation continues.
