Two separate hit and run incidents in one vicinity from Bayside and CIP

Police on the Cross Island Parkway southbound reported a hit and run. This is by Hempstead Turnpike Exit.

A driver took off from the incident.

Heavy delays all around.

In Bayside, the NYPD reported a hit and run by 211 Street. This is by 36th Avenue. After the wreck, the people including the driver took off on foot from one of the vehicles.

EMS is working on the scene for all involved from the other vehicle.

Police stated this was a stolen vehicle.

ESU is working on the scene.
