Two separate death investigations on Long Island

Both NCPD and SCPD reported two separate death investigations on Long Island.

In Nassau County, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died in Inwood. The incident was reported on Monday night around 11pm on the southbound Sheridan Blvd in the vicinity of Nassau Avenue. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

For Suffolk County, a woman was found dead inside a resort in Watermill. The incident was reported on Monday around 12:30pm on Montauk Highway at the location called Shou Sugi Ban House.

a woman died in a guest room. A worker discovered the motionless body with trauma and alerted 911.

The medical examiner will transport the body to conduct an autopsy.

So far no arrests.
