Two separate dead body investigation in Queens and Long Island

On Saturday, the SCPD reported a dead body was found hanging in Saint James. This is in Suffolk County, Long Island. The incident was reported on Jefferson Avenue around 12pm.

First responders pulled the body of a woman from the frigid waters off Rockaway Park on Friday morning, and investigators are working to determine how she died.

As for Queens, a 911 call came in for a dead body in Rockaway Beach on Friday morning around 8:30am.

ESU removed the body.

The medical examiner transported both bodies to conduct an autopsy.

Both incidents are under investigation.
