Two separate carjacking investigations on the Van Wyck Expressway

The NYPD reported on November 5, robbery spiked all over Queens. Most of the incidents were drive thru targeting victims.

A carjacking incident was reported on the Van Wyck Expressway last night around 11pm. Police say two suspects, males, Hispanic displaying weapons and fake NYPD shields pulled over a vehicle. Then removed the driver and a passenger of a Mercedes and took off with the vehicle southbound. EMS treated the victims on the scene. The same time, a driver was carjacked of a BMW in Briarwood and the suspects took off on the Van Wyck Expressway southbound from Main Street.

Ozone Park and its vicinity reported the most robberies followed by Corona and then Jackson Heights.

Police are advising all to stay alert.

All incidents are under investigation.
