Two robberies reported in Middle Village within half hour

Police reported a suspect entered Chase Bank on 74-07 Eliot Avenue in Middle Village and passed a note demanding money. The teller didn't comply and the perp took off on foot. It happened around 11am. 30 minutes later at 11:30am, the same suspect entered Chase bank at 74-03 Metropolitan Avenue also in Middle Village, not far from the first bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. This time the teller compiled and the suspect took off with cash. Then the suspect took off on foot toward unknown direction. Police described the suspect as male, white, 50's 5'7" about 140lbs. Ongoing investigation.
