Two police officers were injured by suspect in Maspeth

NYPD are reporting two police officers were injured by a suspect. It happened around 1pm at 58-91 Maspeth Avenue in Maspeth. Witness reported a suspect hit the head of one officer with a brick. Later police arrested the suspect and accomplice from the roof after surrounding. Ongoing investigation. Update - police reported the two suspects arrested were construction workers. They were arguing on the roof and one threw brick at another but missed and fell on the head of a police officer on the sidewalk while talking to the owner of the building. The owner called 911 reporting argument on the roof. Both officers are in stable condition.
