Two people robbed in Elmont

Police are at the Applebee’s parking lot reporting two people were robbed at gun point. Two suspects, male and female both black took off with cash in a vehicle toward westbound Hempstead Turnpike. It happened around 9:30pm. A witness stated the vehicle is a Kia SUV black. Ongoing investigation.
