Two people arrested for assault and strangulation in Bellerose

Police reported a fight broke out on Union Turnpike and 248 Street in Bellerose resulting two arrests for assaults and strangulation. The incident happened on July 26 around 2am. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Two witnesses stated the fight broke out after a party and spilled outside.
