Two men in custody from Corona to Fresh Meadows

Fresh Meadows - Two men were involved in a chase by police driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan with Pennsylvania license plates when the driver disobeyed a red light at 111th Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 1:30am. The vehicle headed to Clearview Expressway by Union Turnpike Exit in Fresh Meadows when the vehicle lost control and overturned. After removed from the vehicle, both were taken into custody. They are Miguel Garcia, 23 of Corona and Victor Tavarez, 28 of Elmhurst. They were charged with slew of violations from reckless endangerment to resisting arrest. Reported 2am.
