Two individuals arrested in the town of Massena stemming from a traffic stop

On November 30, 2024, State Police members arrested Lisa J. Gonzalez, age 60, of Massena, NY, and Robert M. Edwards, age 46, of Hogansburg, NY for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th.

On November 30, 2024, at approximately 12:26 a.m., Troopers observed a 2015 Chevrolet traveling west on State Route 37B in the town of Massena, violate a vehicle and traffic law.  The Troopers initiated a traffic stop, interviewed the driver who was identified as Edwards and passenger was identified as Gonzalez.   A search of both Edwards, Gonzalez, and the vehicle determined they were in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Edwards and Gonzalez were transported to SP Massena for processing.  Edwards was released on appearance tickets for vehicle and traffic tickets and CPCS 7th, returnable to the Town of Massena Court, for a later date in December.  Gonzalez was released on an appearance ticket for CPCS 7th, returnable to the Town of Massena Court, for a later date in December.
