Two in critical condition after New Hyde Park fire

Firefighters were called to 147 N 12 Street in New Hyde Park after 3am reporting fire broke out of a home.

Four people were inside the home, a 68 year old female and her grandchildren. All were taken to hospital.

Reported the female and a 4 year old female child are in critical condition. One child, 10 year old jumped from the second floor. Two others remains in stable condition.

More than 200 firefighters were on the scene and the fire was brought under control by 7am. The cause of fire is under investigation.
