Two dead in New Hyde Park

Police closed off the intersection of New Hyde Park Road and Marcus Avenue reporting fatality. It happened before 7am in New Hyde Park. Reported the vehicle flipped upside down with entrapment resulting two dead. Multiple ESU are working on the scene. The intersection is closed for investigation including Union Turnpike.

Update - Police reported it was a single accident. A 2009 Corolla with three people inside. A male, 41 was driving hit the pole. Two female passengers, 39 and 71 died at the scene. The male is in critical condition at a local hospital.
