Two dead after fatal vehicular accident in Westbury

Police reported two people died after a single fatal vehicular accident in Westbury. It happened on September 2 around 3:30am near Wantagh State Parkway and Northern State Parkway in the wooded area. The vehicle, 2000 Honda Accord was found overturned in the woods when 911 calls were received. The vehicle smashed into a guardrail, went airborne and then striking a pole. Both driver and passenger died at the scene. Ongoing investigation.
