Two bicyclist struck by vehicles in Queens

Police reported a bicyclist struck by vehicle on Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Blvd. It happened around 1am when the 28 year old cyclist was struck by a 2019 Nissan SUV. The cyclist is in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Another cyclist was also said to have been struck by a driver in Jackson Heights, Queens earlier today morning. The cyclist remains in stable condition. 17 bicyclists killed this year so far compared to 10 in 2018.
