Two arrested following investigation into armed robbery in Lyons

The New York State Police have made two arrests following an extensive investigation into an armed home invasion robbery that occurred in the town of Lyons, Wayne County.

On December 17, 2025, State Police received a report of a robbery at a residence on Maple Street Road in the town of Lyons. The victim reported that an unknown male forcibly entered the residence while displaying what appeared to be a rifle and demanded money. The suspect allegedly stole approximately $20,000 in cash from a safe before fleeing the scene in a gray sedan.

State Police Troopers and Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) members responded and conducted an extensive investigation. Evidence collection, video review, and investigative leads led to the identification of multiple individuals involved.

On March 12, 2026, State Police arrested Charles A. Davis, age 48, of Savannah, NY, for his role in the incident. Davis was charged with:

Robbery in the 1st degree (B felony)

Davis was transported to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment processing.

As part of the ongoing investigation, a search warrant was obtained on March 12, 2026, for a residence located at 3344 Jerusalem Springs Lane in Keuka Park, Yates County.

On March 19, 2026, members of the New York State Police executed an arrest warrant at that location and took William Partridge, age 43, into custody without incident. Partridge was transported to SP Lyons for processing and charged with:

Robbery in the 1st degree (B felony)

Partridge was remanded to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment processing. The Wayne County District Attorney’s Office recommended no bail due to his status as a predicate felon.

This investigation remains active.
