Two Nassau locations have residents on check in status

Today, there will be a public hearing in Floral Park at 8pm at the local village hall on the proposed new development where Stella Ristorante operated for 60 years until closure to a developer seeking permits for underground parking. Then another public hearing for the plan of two lots of five story building on Jericho Turnpike with 150 plus units plus ground retail outlets for the area looking for a variance and a 20 year tax abatement.

If approved, Jericho Turnpike will see towers little by little.

Next on December 3rd, there will be a meeting at 2pm for the rezoning application at the former Matthias Church on 2856 Jerusalem Avenue in Wantagh to make way for a ten story tower with extension of parking lots all around for an Islamic Center. The meet is at Town Meeting Pavilion, Town Hall Plaza in Hempstead for the public.

If both are approved, then demolition crew is all set to start the construction for towers.
