Two NYPD officers injured after vehicle incident in Long Island City

Two police officers were hospitalized on Saturday after a vehicle incident in Long Island City.

The incident was reported around 1am at the intersection of 36th Street and 30th Avenue.

According to NYPD, the officers were responding to a call when another driver t-boned and pinned against a pole.

ESU removed both officers and EMS transported them to local hospitals.

Police are now searching for the driver.
