Tupper Lake male arrested for aggravated DWI

On February 23, 2025, State Police members arrested Robbie L. Lines, age 40, of Tupper Lake, NY, for aggravated driving while intoxicated.

On February 23, 2025, at approximately 7:24 p.m., State Police members responded to Ivy Ter to investigate a previous complaint. Troopers observed Lines operating a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. During the interview, they detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage, and Lines showed signs of impairment.

The trooper conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs), but Lines started the process and then failed to follow the commands. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the State Police station in Tupper Lake for processing. At the station, Lines provided a breath sample that registered a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.26%.
