Trump eye there while NY Governor eyes youse

$237 billion and the NYS is still broke.

Polls opened in Greenland for early election of 31 members in the parliamentary and President Trump is eyeing the independence group victory. If so, then the independence members will be in favor of Greenland as part of the USA.

Greeland has a total population of 56,000 people mostly from indigenous background and most favors independence. The country is self governed with $1 billion dollars from Denmark. This is a wait and watch on the federal budget If the taxpayers will foot the bill.

Back in NY, the Governor is now eyeing a new way to collect $5 billion from taxpayers after the US Dept of Education announced budget cuts. The department won't be dismantled but phased out to each state to handle the education so local parents can have more involvement with the funding. However, the NY Governor doesn't like the plan of disclosing taxpayer funds to the parents. As of now, NYS receives $5 billion from the US Dept of Education which is less than the migrant crisis. The deficit is $13.9 billion forecasted by the Division of the Budget of the $237 billion state budget.

Meanwhile, ten more days for the federal deadline to terminate congestion pricing set by the Trump administration. The Governor says it will be up to the court to decide.
