Traffic stop leads to arrest in the town of waddington

On October 27, 2024, State Police members arrested Kawisohkwas Sharrow, age 42, of Massena, NY, for criminal possession of a weapon 4th and issued a ticket for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd.

On October 27, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Troopers observed a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe traveling on State Highway 37 in the town of Waddington violate a vehicle and traffic law.  The Troopers initiated a traffic stop and interviewed the driver, who was identified as Sharrow.  Sharrow had a suspended NYS driver's license, and as the Troopers conducted an inventory on the vehicle for it to be towed, metal knuckles were located inside the vehicle.  Sharrow took ownership of the metal knuckles.

She was arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing.  She was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Waddington Court for a later date in November.
